Fall is my favorite time of the year 🙂 There is to me little better than crisp days and night, leaves turning and taking the boys to farms for pumpkins! Hard to believe it’s been three years since I took this photo:
One of the fun treats we made that year was wee baby “pumpkins”, for a party in our neighborhood. They didn’t last long!
It’s simple, fun, and kids love them! Buy a bag of seedless oranges and some celery. Peel the oranges, then trim and cut the celery into pieces with a diagonal cut on top. Stick a piece in, and ta-da, mini pumpkins! Just find a holiday inspired plate to park them on…..
I wish I had thought of that. It would have been a great party treat when I taught school. – Margy
